Bema Fort will shine with hundreds of colors
The Chinese Light Festival is a century-old Chinese tradition, celebrated since the Han Dynasty. The light exhibition consists of 38 steel constructions, covered with colorful fabrics. They are illuminated by hundreds of thousands of LED bulbs, partly also with neon elements. Each form has been elaborately designed and carefully made so that it arouses admiration and excitement not only because of its size, but also color and shape. Most of the figures are closely associated with Chinese culture, thus one should not be surprised seeing such motives as flowers, animals like a dragon or a panda, lanterns. Forms sometimes reaching 4 meters in height or 20 meters in length impress not only the youngest recipients but also adults for whom they come as a surprise. Adventure with the Festival will start at the very entrance. Visitors will be greeted by a colossal gate measuring 12 meters wide and 5 meters high.
The Chinese Festival of Light will last from November 30, 2019 to February 16, 2020.
This festival is not only a great light exhibition but also an ideal opportunity to deepen knowledge of Chinese culture. A traditional Chinese handicrafts market will be held throughout the Festival. For those thirsty and hungry there will be a gastronomic section and other exhibition stands within the event area.
